🧠 Here’s 5 ways that your brain can cause utter chaos! 👉 I’m not sure what’s going to happen so I’ll probably fail. 👉 I’m not clever enough, old enough, young enough so I can’t do that. 👉 This is too hard… why can’t I deal with this? I should be able to cope. 👉 Everyone else makes this look easy! There’s something wrong with me. 👉 I’ve made the wrong decision. This isn’t going to end well. 💥 I’ve had a busy week coaching. Every person if walking their own path and doing their own thing BUT self sabotage is common amongst them all. Beware… 👂Be careful what you listen to. Are you sabotaging yourself? Your brain can be prone to faulty wiring. It misinterprets what’s going on. Remember to notice your self talk and focus on the helpful voices! If the feeling of overwhelm and even dread is creeping in STOP and take these 3 steps… 1️⃣ AUDIT: Where & how are you spending your time. What stuff is filling your head? What’s the stuff on your ‘to-do’ list? 2️⃣ PRIORITISE: What’s the stuff that has to happen? What’s the stuff only you can do? What’s the the stuff you want to do? 3️⃣ TAKE ACTION: What can you delegate or outsource? What can you postpone or put down? I guarantee that there will be stuff. 💥 It can be tempting to do the exact opposite and heap more into the equation. More pressure. More people. More options. But… if you STOP and work out what you can subtract, you’ll start to simplify things and release some of the pressure.
