The 3 culprits for knocking your confidence & ambition… 1️⃣ Your inner imposter. In other words, not feeling good enough and that you’ll get found out. 👉”I’m not clever or experienced enough.” 👉”I got a lucky break.” 2️⃣ ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts). Reflex thoughts that are triggered by a strong feeling or reaction. Fear and worry are huge triggers for your ANTs coming out to play. 👉”This is will never work!” 👉”People won’t be interested.” 3️⃣ Self limiting beliefs. Irrational and unhelpful perceptions and assumptions about yourself, others and the world around you. 👉”I’m the quiet one.” 👉”I’m not a people person.” And here’s 3 ways in which you can combat them… 1️⃣ Switch on your self awareness... have you fallen into this trap? Are you getting in your own way? 2️⃣ Check how you are labelling and defining yourself. Challenge them if they are limiting your progress and shaping unhelpful thinking. 3️⃣ Try and identify exactly how you are holding yourself back... are you harbouring self limiting beliefs? 🙈 Losing your mojo sucks! But you can find it again… ⚡️Your spark can dim. ⚡️ You can lose sight of what makes you tick. ⚡️ Your confidence, energy, enthusiasm or focus can dip. But you can find it again… There’s no magic bullet to ‘fix’ stuff but you absolutely can rediscover your mojo! Here’s my 3 top tips... 👉 Figure out what’s important to you (aka your values) and how you can align yourself with them. 👉 Reflect on your resources. In other words are you trying to drive with an empty tank? If you’re burning out, you’ll always struggle to feel engaged and energised. 👉 Set yourself goals. These will give you a target to aim at. It helps create purpose and fuels motivation. Sometimes I think that Coaching is the best kept secret! COACHING brings CLARITY and clarity brings CONFIDENCE to move forward. If you’re feeling stuck in a rut you can switch gears. 💬 The definition of Overthinking is simple… “To think about something too much or for too long.” ⭕️ Here’s how to break the cycle. 👉 First BE AWARE that you’re doing it. 🗣 Then ask yourself: 1. “How is this serving me?” I can guarantee that it will be causing you stress, holding you back and making you miserable. Notice the negative impact overthinking is having and say “Enough!” 2. “What is in my control?” Controlling the controllables will help you regain control and focus.
